"Why Big Fr and Hungry F"

1) Francium is the biggest atom because it has 7 electron shells. Since it is so big it doesn't strongly attract it's electrons. This is why it has low IE. Fr has low EN because it is trying to get rid of its electrons in order to gain a full valence shell.

2)Since helium is so small is keeps its valence electrons close to its nucleus. This in return, gives helium a high IE.

3) Noble Gases, don't have an EN value because they are nonreactive, and don't gain or loose electrons.

4) Since fluorine is a halogen (an element with 7 valence electrons) it is "hungry" for 1 more valence electron. It also is the smallest element, not including  helium, which gives it the highest IE.
